Privacy
Short version: the extension checks messages on your device and uploads none of them. The site only holds what you send it.
What the site stores
- Your email address, and a phone number only if you turn on text alerts.
- The messages you forward, paste, upload or sync: sender, subject, text, and the score the engine gave them.
- Your pipeline: statuses, notes, invoices and rates.
- Reports you file to the scam registry, stored without your identity attached to the public entry.
What it does not do
- No account connections: DealShield never logs into your inbox or social accounts.
- No advertising trackers, and no analytics inside signed-in app pages.
- No tracking of the pages you visit elsewhere on the web. The Chrome extension reports nothing about your browsing, here or anywhere.
- No selling or sharing of your data.
Counting visits
Two separate things happen here, and only one of them involves anyone else.
Our own count, on our server. When this site serves a page it adds one to a few totals: the date, the path of the page, and where the visit came from (a campaign tag in the link, or the site that linked here). To count a visitor once a day rather than once a click, the server makes a short one-way digest of your address, your browser's user-agent, the date and a secret, and keeps only that digest. It cannot be turned back into your address, it is not stored next to anything else about you, it is useless the next day because the date is part of it, and it is deleted after two months. The page also reports how many seconds it stayed open, as a number added to a per-page total. There is no cookie, nothing is stored in your browser, and nothing identifies you, so there is nothing to opt into and nothing that follows you elsewhere. Signed-in app pages, the admin area and the API are not counted at all.
Google Analytics loads on public marketing and blog pages only if you choose Allow analytics. It can receive the page URL, referrer, browser and device information, and an approximate location. DealShield does not send Google your account, email address, offers, DMs, invoices or dashboard activity. Advertising signals and ad personalisation are disabled.

Payments
Creator Pro is sold through ExtensionPay and Stripe, which receive your email address and payment details. We never see card data.
Deleting it
Settings has a delete button that removes the account, its offers, invoices and alerts. Registry reports stay, without a link to you.
